[Nevermind Edge. He's fiddling around with the linkshell, a little sidetracked, and probably not really focused on the main issue at hand. Well, not apparently, anyway. But behind that mask, Edge presses his lips into a thin line and he stares straight at the shell thing, gaze with a purpose.]

I'm uh. Kind of stuck in Damcyan—don't ask!—but really, I have to hitch a ride back to Eblan as soon as possible before the Seneschal kills me. Not literally, but you get the point! I'm a pretty busy guy, you know!

[But his emotions right now is a mixed bag—from confusion, to excitement, to worry, and everything else in between. Altogether it's a little overwhelming, but imagine how it feels for Edge who's trying his best to hide it behind that mask, as usual.]

King Bard's not helping much either— [Well actually, he's not there at Damcyan at all but Edge really isn't the person to divulge such a thing to everyone, okay. He has his boundaries.] —but I'm hoping one of you guys'll be willing to help out.

Anyone? Cecil, did you grow a beard yet? I bet your hands full with Rosa, heh! And you still look pretty as ever, right Rydia? I hope you're still not brooding, Kain. I mean, I know I'm good at that too, but you're threatening my title!

You're seventeen years ahead from the past, and last I checked, everyone was doing fine until we ended up in the underworld and now our friends are missing.

According to Cuore, her father might be the one responsible for this mess. It probably makes some sense, since Rydia can't summon the Eidolons to this plane. And most of the newcomers can't use their own magic.

Yes. She was there on the airship that took us back to the Dwarves' castle with Greetingway.

Yeah, I gathered as much from what I've been told.

Do you know anything about her father? I'm assuming you're clued in more than we are, at the very least.

...We think her "father" might be on one of the moons, but we can't be certain, because we don't have the means to go there.

[Yeah, it sucks not having a cool airship.]

Right now, we're focusing on our efforts to figure out what should we do now. Kain refuses to go to Baron due to his personal reasons, and I'm trying to teach people from other worlds how to use magic in our world.

Then we better make do and focus on figuring things out here, first. I'll be heading to Eblan myself, so don't worry too much about Baron. It's on the way.

Yeah, just remember to teach them how to do some other spells other than turning people into pigs and toads. We've got enough of that in the world as is!
